Gateway Supports Sustainable Growth and Resilience (Esri ArcUser Summer Edition)
This Article by Jeff Herter and Liz Podowski (New York Department of State) appeared in Esri's summer edition of ArcUser. It describes the New York Information Gateway, which they co-developed with Stone Environmental, with the an initial goal of updating and improving the New York Oceans and Great Lakes Atlas to make it more user friendly, offer more ways to access information, and exemplify how GIS can be used to inform decisions.
