The National Decentralized Water Resources Capacity Development Project (NDWRCDP) supports research and development to improve our understanding and strengthen the foundations of training and practice in the field of onsite/decentralized wastewater treatment. NDWRCDP is a Stone client.

The National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association (NOWRA) educates and represents members in the onsite and decentralized wastewater industry. It is the largest such organization in the US. Stone is a member of NOWRA.

The Water Environment Research Foundation promotes the development of sound science and its application to water quality issues. Subscribers include municipal and regional water and wastewater utilities, industrial corporations, and environmental engineering firms. Stone is a member of WERF.

The National Small Flows Clearinghouse (NSFC) provides information about practical, innovative, low-cost wastewater treatments for communities with populations of less than 10,000. Stone is a national affiliate of NSFC.

The Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology, Sydney, works with industry, government, and communities to develop sustainable futures through research, consultancy, and training. Stone partners with ISF to draw on its expertise in life-cycle costing and its Australian perspective on approaches to managing water and wastewater utilities.

The Maine State Planning Office provides information, analysis, and guidance to help decision makers make informed decisions about Maine's economy, resources, and governance. The Maine SPO is a Stone client.
