Heather is a biogeographer with a wealth of interdisciplinary experience in field ecology and GIS. She grew up in Zimbabwe and has worked on participatory mapping and ecological monitoring projects in Rwanda, Ecuador and Singapore. Her most recent academic research focused on spatiotemporal variations in molt amongst west Ecuadorian avifauna. She joined Stone in 2019 after graduating from Middlebury College, and now enjoys conducting fieldwork, analyzing data and making maps to support a variety of environmental projects here in Vermont.
