Sandra Walser Staff Scientist


Sandra brings robust experience in laboratory and field work as well as classroom instruction to her role as a staff scientist at Stone. During her tenure as a teaching assistant and a graduate teaching assistant she guided students through field laboratories and instructed geology and geocomputing courses. As a graduate research assistant at the University of Vermont, Sandra planned and conducted field investigations using laboratory instruments and maintained data quality. She recently completed her thesis on the “Development and Application of PXRF Protocols to Potentially Hazardous Metals in Soils of Urban Forests and Gardens.”
