Paige Gebhardt, GISP is attending the 2023 Esri User Conference, July 10 through 14 in San Diego, California. The world’s largest GIS conference highlights new and innovative GIS applications and features seminars, presentations, and exhibitions from peers and experts across various sectors.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT: The New York Geographic Information Gateway

Since 2005, Stone has collaborated with the New York Department of State, Office of Planning, Development, & Community Infrastructure to establish an effective system for distributing program data and communicating planning initaitives to a diverse range of stakeholders. Over the years, the New York Geographic Information Gateway has evolved from a simple data inventory to a fully integrated web-based mapping system, equipped with a data catalog, mapping tools, stories, and other features. This year, Stone is migrating the current Gateway to Esri's ArcGIS Hub, which is more secure, easier to maintain, and frequently updated to meet diverse needs. The updated version of the Gateway allows New Yorkers a chance to explore data that is relevant to their community's growth and development, recreational opportunities, immersive learning experiences, resources connecting state and national planning efforts, and unique and approachable mapping tools accessible to all. View The Updated Gateway>>> Alternative Link>>>

Nick Floersch, Geospatial and Data Solutions Service Leader, Senior Solution Architect

We are fortunate to have Nick as our new Geospatial and Data Solutions team leader. Nick has been an internal part of Stone's success over the last 24 years, leading various projects involving design, programming, modeling, layout, and production. He also oversaw extensive data compilation and extraction, spearheaded the development of innovative projects, and provided solutions to complex problems. Paige Gebhardt, GISP, GIS Specialist

Paige joined the GDS team just over a year ago and has already made significant contributions to our team and projects. In addition, Paige has taken on a role in advancing our company's partnerships and improving our GDS application portfolio. Mary Haley, GIS Specialist

Mary joined the GDS team a year ago and immediately began contributing her technical and project management skills to several projects. Her Python and excellent organization and documentation skills are an asset to the GDS team as she leads Stone's work with the Vermont Agency of Transportation.
