Speeding Up Brownfield Redevelopment

Stone has worked with clients across Vermont to offer an alternative approach to one common cause of delay of brownfield redevelopment projects– the traditional iterative approach to Site Investigations and Phase II ESAs. Stone frequently conducts Phase II ESAs and other site investigations using a dynamic workplan strategy which has it's origins in the US EPA coined "Triad approach." Our experience is that Phase II investigations conducted using the Triad approach are faster, less expensive, and yield a more accurate and better-developed CSM than conventional investigations. The more complete investigation leads, in turn, to better decision making and more cost-effective remedial design and implementation.
