Alex is a creative GIS specialist with a decade of experience in geospatial analysis, mapping application development, and asset inventory planning. Alex started his career at the Vermont Agency of Transportation, where he played a pivotal role in creating the statewide Small Culvert Inventory, coordinated Federal Highway Administration reporting, and led as a GIS team leader for the Northwest disaster response unit. Alex then transitioned to an instructive role at Vermont Technical College, where he honed his GIS teaching skills before advancing to serve as a GIS Administrator for the Vermont Public Power Supply Authority. In this position, he spearheaded the development of GIS mapping standards, conducted analytics, oversaw training for staff and utility members, and served as the central contact for GIS inquiries.

At Stone, Alex leverages his expertise in ArcGIS software and technology to design web mapping solutions, conduct advanced geospatial analysis, provide technical support and training, and ensure the accuracy of spatial and non-spatial data for GIS and data management projects.
