Construction Begins on Wolcott Community Wastewater Project

Construction is officially underway on the Wolcott Community Wastewater Project, and we are proud to have supported this effort through many years of planning and development.
Stone first evaluated wastewater solutions for Wolcott and North Wolcott more than two decades ago and has remained involved as the project evolved from concept to construction. Along the way, we've worked closely with the Town of Wolcott, Lamoille County Planning Commission, the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation's Water Investment Division (WID), and other project partner to advance planning, design, permitting, funding, and public engagement efforts.
Once complete, the system will provide critical wastewater capacity for homes, businesses, and community facilities while improving flood resilience by locating infrastructure outside the floodplain.
Seeing years of collaboration, technical work, and community commitment turn into on-the-ground improvements is one of the most rewarding parts of our work.
