Renewable Thermal Campaign Targeting

Stone assisted MassCEC in identifying and analyzing target markets to broaden its understanding of target markets for renewable heating and cooling technologies through the use of GIS data and spatial analysis in order to inform development, deployment, and evaluation of data-driven strategies to grow the Massachusetts renewable thermal sector. Roughly one half of Massachusetts residents currently heat their homes with fuel oil, kerosene, or electricity leading to higher-than-average energy costs and increased exposure to price volatility for a significant portion of the Commonwealth. Additionally, the widespread use of fuel oil and kerosene for home heating is a significant source of greenhouse gas emissions.
